Abstract

PURPOSE: To hold effectively a power source at the time of release and short accidents, by providing a power-source holding circuit which includes a saturable inductance providing low impedance by being saturated in normal operation and high impedance with the input power source in a short state.
CONSTITUTION: Electric-power-source holding circuit 7 supplied with power from DC power source 15 is connected between the load terminal in the unit and the power input terminal of a miniature magnetic bubble memory which needs to hold a power supply to the load for a fixed time after the occurrence of a power accident such as the release and short of the input power line. Then, capacitor 6 is connected in parallel to the load, and saturable inductance L providing low impedance in normal operation by being saturated and high impedance in the shorting of the input power line being released from the saturation is connected in series between the power input terminal and load. Consequently, the miniature and simple constitution provides effective electric power holding at the time of not only a release accident but also a short accident.
