PURPOSE:To burn high-molecular substances like waste rubber or waste plasitics completley and effectively through provision of a bypass pipe which is branched from an upper portion of a combustion sleeve and extends downward along the combustion cylinder. CONSTITUTION:When substances A to be burnt in a combustion space 10 is ignited by inserting a live charcoal, high-temperature combustion gas of the live charcoal flows upward in a combustion cylinder 7 since combustion of the live charcoal is caused just under the combustion cylinder 7, so that substances A in the cylinder 7 is heated and a portion of substances A is gasified. Gas thus produced fills the space in the cylinder 7 together with the combustion gas of the live charcoal. Gas thus filled in the cylinder 7 is not burnt because of shortage of oxygen and it is forced to flow downward through a bypass pipe 15. Then, gas is issued to the outside from opening 16 and burnt in combustion space 10 together with substances A being burnt. That is, combustion gas produced at first in combustion space 10 contains a large amount of unburnt carbon, and this primary combustion gas is issued from an opening 16 together with unburnt gas gasified in the combustion cylinder 7 for causing the secondary combustion of the substances A, so that the substance A can be burnt completely.
