Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a flexible insulation board having an excellent applicability by injecting an expandable resin composition into the groove of a channel-shaped material and by making cuts on the cured resin for the bending thereof by use of several groove-cutting blades after the resin has been expanded and cured during the movement.
CONSTITUTION: A channel-shaped rib 2 of a aluminum or the like, for example, is placed on the lower conveyer 1 of a double conveyer device for injection of an expandable urethane resin 4 and the like into the channel. Covering the surface of the resin 4 with a release belt 5 prepared on the upper conveyer 5, the expansion is made during the movement. This expanded sheet 4 is cut with several groove-cutting blades 7 in parallel lines so that the sheet can be bent due to the grooves. Further, the rib 2 containing the expanded sheet 4 is cut off in a certain length by an intermittent rib cutter 10 for the finishing of the resin sheet as a standard-length insulation board 11. For the conveyers 1,5, a caterpillar type is preferred.
