Data from a sonar on a certain azimnth or frequency at preset or a certain time in the past are stored in a cell of the memory 11. The contents of the memory are read out to be indicated on display panel 13 of a cathode-ray tube display unit in accordance with the passage of time from the present time to a certain time in the past. The memory 11 is updated by a command from a timer 12, and data on the present time to a certain time in the past are constantly indicated on the display panel 13. Thus, the movement of a target can be watched.
