Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a soil conditioner which enables the effective utilization of industrial wastes and suppresses the decomposition of organic materials in soil to keep the ratio of bacteria/mold in soil to a high level, by adding specific amounts of gypsum and a basic alkaline earth metal compound to yeast cultivation waste liquid.
CONSTITUTION: The objective soil conditioner is prepared by mixing homogeneously (A) 100pts.wt. of gypsum, (B) 10W400 parts of dried yeast cultivation waste which is an industrial waste, and (C) 1W50 parts of a basic alkaline earth metal compound (e.g. carbonate, hydroxide, etc. of calcium, magnesium, etc.).
