Abstract
PURPOSE:To stop quickly a turntable for record players which turns at low speed by biasing a shaft according to a braking current working as a direct current through integration by an inductance component given in a shaft biasing means. CONSTITUTION:While a driving signal applied on an amplification circuits 46a, 46b was given at 90 deg. in phase difference at a driving state, the phase difference develops to 180 deg. from coming in a stop state according to a stop command, and thus a reversing torque arises to give a damping force to a two-phase motor 24. When the motor comes to run at a given rotational frequency, a rotation detecting circuit 58 generates an output, and a pulse current flows by a transistor Tr1 of a DC braking circuit 59 being turned on. The pulse current becomes a DC braking current through integration by an inductance component of a stator winding 60b, which biases a shaft and a rotor of the motor 24, thus giving a damping force by a friction between a bearing and the shaft to loads.
