Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the penetration of moisture by a method wherein a porous fiber impregnated with varnish is inserted into a gap between risers for admitting a lead wire of the wiring of an armature before being heat-hardened so that an insulating layer between the risers is strengthened. CONSTITUTION:The end of a lead wire 4 of the wiring of an armature is inserted into a gap between buried risers, and it is electrically connected to the riser, then a porous fiber 10 impregnated with epoxy varnish, for instance, a nonwoven fabric of polyester or glass fiber, is inserted into a gap between the buried risers. At the time of such insertion, the pre-hardened fiber 10 impregnated with the varnish is folded in a U shape, and the inserting work is done while letting a spacer 11 lie in the folded portion. By so doing, since an insulating layer between the buried risers is strengthened and not slipped off, it can prevent water and dust from penetrating into the wiring portion of the armature.
