Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize the special radio communication system which enables the mobile radio communication in the tunnel of long length comparatively, by providing the relay unit at the both ends of leakage coaxial cable (LCX). CONSTITUTION:The relay units 12, 13 are provided at the both ends of LCX9, and the mobile radio units 10, 11 in transmission and reception frequencies f1, f2 respectively are opposed along LCX9. The transmission signal f1 from the mobile unit 10 is received at the reception section R11 of the relay unit 12 and transmitted from the transmission section T21 as the signal in frequency f2 including the control signal P1 from the control section C1. This signal is received with the mobile unit 11. The relay unit 13 converts the transmission signal f2 from the mobile unit 11 into frequency f1 including the control signal P1, for transmission. The both relay units 12, 13 identify the reception signal whether it is from the mobile unit or the opposing relay unit with the control signal, and the transmission from itself is stopped, when the reception signal comes from the opposing relay unit.
