Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate troubles of an introduction of solid materials and improve a sealing characteristic at an outlet by instituting a stopper plate capable of oscillating in a casing of a rotary feeder to prevent an introduction of foreing materials, and a rotor with a good sealing characteristic.
CONSTITUTION: Within a casing 8 provided with a feeding port 1 above and a discharge port 2 below, a rotor 9 with plectrum shaped vanes is provided, capable of rotation, while in an aparture of the rotor 9 in a rotating direction of the rotor 9 and the casing 8, a hanging board 4 is swingably supported, by means of a hanging shaft 6 to prevent an introduction of foreign materials. The hanging board has a configuration conforming to top surfaces 7 of vanes of an arciform and tends to urge to the rotor 9 either by a spring 5 or by its own weight. When a solid material S is fed into the system, the hanging board 4 is pressed and oscillates to an external side, and the solid material S is smoothly discharged through a clearance thus created. Further, the top surface of vanes forms a spacious arciform and it helps to increase a sealing characteristic of the casing 8 and the hanging board 4.
