Abstract

CONSTITUTION:When the door of driver 2 is opened or closed by mistake in the accessible state of a floppy disk, ready-to-operate signal (b) is sent out from driver 2 to controller 5 right after unready-to-operate signal (a) and controller 5 sends access unable signal (d) to CPU1. In response to the zero value of flag 4, controller 5 compares the label of the disk to that stored previously in memory 3 and when the both agree with each other, access is attained by access enable signal (c). When the both disagree, error display on display 7 comes into effect by signal (d), stopping the access. Therefore, error read and write operations can be prevented.
