Abstract
PURPOSE: To surely transmit motive power both in forward rotation and in backward rotation, by providing a belt tension clutch unit behind as to the motive power transmission of a forward and backward rotation changer in a motive power transmission line and connecting the action of the tension pulley of the clutch unit with the shifting action of the changer.
CONSTITUTION: A handling drum 3 is rotated in a prescribed direction to revolve a straw discharge chain 83 forward or backward to convey discharged straw. When a tension pulley 75 is thrusted on the lower part of a belt 57 by operating a control lever 77 oppositely to a direction D, motive power is transmitted from a driving pulley 51 to a driven pulley 53. At the same time, an arm 47 is swung through a wire 79 and the shifting gear 19 of a forward and backward rotation changer 11 is moved rightward through a fork 37 revolved around a shaft 39 and is disengaged from a gear 23. As a result, the belt 57 is revolved in the direction of an arrow E by motive power of an engine transmitted to the belt. When the lever 77 is operated in the direction D, the belt 57 is revolved oppositely to the direction E.
