Abstract

PURPOSE: After aqueous glycerol is previously put in the bottom of the centrifugal tubes, a solution of human living protein containing a denaturant is placed in the tubes and subjected to centrifugation, thus collecting unstable protein in the aqueous glycerol without insolubilization by denaturation.
CONSTITUTION: A protein denaturant such as acid or ethanol is added to a solution of human living protein. In the meantime, an aqueous glycerol of 10W19vol% concentration is placed in the bottom of the centrifugal tubes previously and then the protein solution is placed thereon in double layer. Then, these tubes is subjected to centrifugation, e.g., under 3,000rpm for 15min to collect the unstable protein susceptible to insolubilization in the aqueous glycerol.
