Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the working of a bottomed workpiece, by providing a rotary member with a wire guide to guide an electrode wire and laying the electrode wire on the wire guide so that the wire coincides with the axis of rotation of the rotary member. CONSTITUTION:A feed reel 2 and a winding reel 5 for an electrode wire 1 are provided above a workpiece 10. The electrode wire 1 delivered from the feed reel 2 is passed through a hole 11a of a rotary member 11. The wire is then laid on a wire guide 12 so that the direction of the wire is inverted. The electrode wire is passed through the second hole 11b provided in the center of the rotary member 11 and is wound on the winding reel 5. The wire guide 12 is provided on the front end of the horizontal part 13b of a supporting member 13. The electrode wire 1 is located between the wire guide 12 and the hole 11b of the rotary member 11 so that the wire coincides with the axis C-C' of the rotary member. These steps are regulated by a numerical controller 16 on the basis of information from an NC tape 17.
