Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a fuel gas having a desired odor easily, by adding separately t-butylmercaptan and ethyl acrylate, each being stored separately from each other, to a fuel gas.
CONSTITUTION: In the separate storage tanks 3 and 4, t-butylmercaptan and ethyl acrylate are stored, respectively, and added separately to fuel gas in the gas line 1 from the pumps 5 and 6 and mixed by the gas mixer 2. Thus, the polymerization of ethyl acrylate can be completely prevented because only small smounts of t-butylmercaptan and ethyl acrylate are present in the fuel gas.
