Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a FRP product of even and minimum thin thickness, having sufficient mechanical strength by a method wherein a high viscous composition whose content of liquid thermosetting resin is the same with that of a reinforced portion, however, contains more amount of reinforcing fiber, is employed at portions where reinforcement is required.
CONSTITUTION: Content of liquid thermosetting resin at a high viscous composition A containing reinforcing fiber, filling material and liquid thermosetting resin is almost the same with that of the composition A. Here, a high viscous composition B whose content of reinforcing fiber body is larger than that of the composition A is employed additionally. At the locations whose strength is insufficient by employing composition A alone, (such specified regions as parts X and Y), a composition B alone or compositions A and B are employed. Because compositions A and B adhere each other quite well, parmitting resins to cure under the same condition, no deformation occurs due to thermosetting. By this method, a FRP product having even and minimum thin thickness overall, together with necessary mechanical strength, is obtained.
