Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize the accurate and assured control of the high-speed response type by securing such constitution in that the mean value or the peak value is detected for the output signal of the photo detector and then the detection signal is supplied to the luminance control circuit or the contrast adjuster circuit as the control signal to perform the automatic luminance limit. CONSTITUTION:The luminance signal sent from the video amplifier circuit is supplied to matrix circuit 30 via contrast adjuster circuit 10 and then luminance adjuster circuit 20 each. At the same time, the carrier chrominance signal extracted by the band pass amplifier is supplied to demodulator circuit through color level adjuster circuit 40 to obtain the color difference signal. This signal is then supplied to gate circuits 60R-60B. On the other hand, photo detector 80 is provided outside the funnel part of beam index type color pickup tube 70, and the output signal of detector 80 is supplied to BPF90.
