Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare a granulated product such as active alumina or the like having good reproductivity and stable quality by a method wherein a condition for shortening a granulation starting time and a condition for enabling to granulate stably after a starting time are established.
CONSTITUTION: A powder to be granulated is supplied to a dish 1 from a hopper 8 through a quantitative feeder 19 and granulated particles exhausted from a dish 1 is screened into a product 14, small particles 15 and crude particles 16 according to a size by a screen 13. Screened small particles 15 are returned into a dish 1 by a conveyor and, on the other hand, crude particles 16 are ground into fine particles by a grinding machine 17, thereafter returned into a dish 1. In the above described procedure, while a sprayed water amount from plural nozzles 4 within a dish 1 is recorded by a skilled worker, a water spraying position and method are investigated and a condition for shortening a granulation starting time and a condition capable of granulating stably after a starting time are set to prepare a granulated product having good reproductivity and stable quality.
