Abstract

PURPOSE: To make multiaddress report for respective communication control units possible independently of the number of installed communication control units, by providing a common-constitution interface to a monitor unit in each communication control unit.
CONSTITUTION: Plural communication control units 1-1W1-3 are connected to monitor unit 7 through multiaddress report start signal line 10 and multi-address report executing indication signal line 11, and unit 7 is connected to host data processing unit 6 through multiplexer channel 8. Respective units 1-1W1-3 are connected to unit 6 through bus 12 and multiplexer channel 9, and in case of a normal operation, emergent multiaddress report start switch 13 of unit 7 is set to the nonstart state. In case of multiaddress report, unit 6 issues a multiaddress report start command to unit 7 through channel 8 to turn on switch 13 of unit 7, and relay 15 for start detection of respective units 1-1W1-3 is operated to report to software that multiaddress report has started, and simultaneously, multiaddress report busy driving relay 16 is operated to light multiaddress report executing indication lamp 14 of unit 7.
