Abstract

PURPOSE: To accomplish a clear printing at the fixed position on the paper correcting the printing deviation of the printer by correcting the action start time of a magnet-driven hammer according to the speed of the type body moving in the fixed direction.
CONSTITUTION: An input power supply frequency is shaped into a pulse wave form by the wave form shaping circuit 46a, while the cycle thereof is measured with a cycle measuring device 48. The measured value is sent to the counter 50 and the digital value of the time to be delayed is inputted to a delay device 42. On the other hand, the type position of the type body 10 is picked up as the pulse signal with a type position detector 38 and inputted into the delay device 42 after shaped with a waveform shaping device 46b. The delay device 42 delays the shaped pulse of the circuit 46b by the digital value ΔT and outputs thereof as the type position pulse subject to a correction corresponding to the variation in the frequency of the input power supply. According to the pulse, the excitation starting signal is inputted into an excitation coil 34 of the magnet driven hammer 30 through a drive controlling circuit 44 to start the excitation to correct the printing deviation.
