Abstract
PURPOSE:To mass-produce a heater with a reinforcing core wire at its foot portion by forming a porous insulating layer on the reinforcing core wire and a heating wire by a spraying method in order to make the dissolution of the reinforcing core wire easier. CONSTITUTION:The porous insulating layer 105 is formed by coating the portion other than the tip of the foot 103 of a Mo core wire wound with the heating wire 104 with alumina powder by a spraying method, followed by a sintering treatment. Then, the portion corresponding to the foot 103 of the heater 111 is held by a clip in a tank of a nitric acid-sulfuric acid mixed solution, the portion corresponding to the negative heating portion 102 is hanged down, and the portion other than the foot 103 and the clip is dipped in the said mixed solution which comes into contact directly with the Mo core wire through the pores of the layer 105 to dissolve it, leaving the Mo core wire inside the foot 103 intact. Thus, the heater with the Mo core wire as a reinforcing core at its foot can be easily mass-produced.
