Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare the title agent having excellent long-term ozone deterioration preventing capability and high concentration ozone resistance, and useful for automobile tyre, hose, etc., by compounding specific amounts of two kinds of specific phenylene diamine derivatives.
CONSTITUTION: The title agent is prepared by mixing (A) a sym-N,N'-di-(sec- hexyl)-p-phenylenediamine, pref. N,N'-di-(1,3-dimethylbutyl)-p-phenylenediamine and (B) an N-(sec-hexyl)-N'-phenyl-p-phenylenediamine, pref. N-(1,3-dimethylbutyl)-N'-phenyl-p-phenylenediamine, and if necessary, (C) other deterioration preventing agents, antioxidants, etc. The weight ratio of A/B is 10/90W50/50.
EFFECT: Effective to prevent the ozone deterioration of vulcanized product of a sulfur-vulcanizable diene rubber.
