CONSTITUTION:A metal thin plate 4 is provided to part of a back cover 3 of the wristwatch and a zinc oxide film 5 whose C-axis is oriented perpendicular to the plate face and a charge detecting electrode 6 are provided thereon. When the back cover 3 is pressed to the arm 7, the thin plate 5 elongates and contracts according to the fluctuations of the pressure of the skin owing to pulses and the zinc film 5 also elongates and contracts. The charges by the piezoelectric characteristic of the film 5 generate in the electrode 6 and the pulses there of are counted 9. The results of the counting are displayed as the number or intervals ofthe pulses in a panel 11.
