PURPOSE:To obtain a capsule containing hydrophobic oil-drops for a pressure sensing recording sheet with a resin wall film provided with a compact property by a method wherein urea and formaldehyde are polymerized under the existence of polyvinyl alcohol with the specified degree of saponification. CONSTITUTION:Urea is dissolved in a water solution containing polyvinyl alcohol with the degree of saponification of 95% or more. A hydrophobic oilness liquid containing a color former, etc., which must be contained in a capsule, is emulsified and dispersed to the water solution. The temperature is raised while adding formaldehyde and agitating the solution, and the urea and the formaldehyde are polymerized and condensed while forming a capsule wall. The urea may be added before condensation. Ammonium salt is jointly used for promoting the reaction in case of reaction as necessary. According to this method, the bluing of a capsule liquid is prevented, and the reaction is completed for a short time.
