Abstract
PURPOSE: To separate even emulsion oil efficiently by a mechanism wherein an air lift is formed by a draft cylinder menufactured by alternately connecting honeycomb filling isthmus portions and extending portions with taper, and an outer cylinder for discharging and circulating a discharging liquid is made up in multiple cylinder structure.
CONSTITUTION: Air fed in from an air feed-in port 5 of a lower portion of an inner cylinder 4 uniformly expands into small tubes when it passes through honycomb filling isthmus portions 7, and air columns are formed in draft cylinders 3. Thus, raw water containing oil fed in from a raw water feed-in port 7 through a porous dash-board 6 cannot help passing through small clearances among tube walls and the air columns, the raw water is subject to strong pressure, shearing stress, etc. at that time, and oil and water are separated. Extending portions 2 with taper increase the said shearing stress, etc. while lowering pressure loss.
