Abstract

PURPOSE: To exactly guide sheets of different width in stable state by rockably supporting a second guide member for controlling the lateral movement of sheets of narrow width in advancing direction within a first guide member for controlling the lateral movement of sheets of wide width.

CONSTITUTION: A film guide consists of a stationary guide plate 30, a guide member 31 forming a film feed passage, and a U-shaped second guide member 32 disposed within the film feed passage. The guide member 31 has a pair of thick walls 31a spaced at an interval a corresponding to the lateral width of a leader film to control the lateral movement of the leader film of wide width. A second guide member 32 has a pair of triangular vertical walls 32a spaced at an interval b corresponding to the lateral width of a microfilm as engaged with a long hole 31b of the guide member 31 to control the lateral movement of the microfilm. The end of the triangular wall is disposed at the center of the hole 30a of the guide member 30 to be movable in vertical direction upwardly at the shaft 35 of the guide member 31 rockably in advancing direction of the film around the shaft 35 as a center.
