Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the mild emulsifier without giving any stimulus to the skin by containing N-long chain acyl acidic amino acids and sterol compounds as the essential components of the emulsifier composition. CONSTITUTION:The two components of the N-long chain acyl acidic amino acids composed of the residual groups of acidic amino acids, such as glutamic acids and aspartic acids, and the N-long chain acyl groups being the residual fatty acid groups of carbon number 8-40 and/or their salts and sterol compounds, such as cholesterol and phytosterol are essentially contained as the emulsifier composition to make products such as cream and lotion by emulsifying oily componets. The emulsion using this emulsifier composition is extremely stable and yet its action upon the skin is mild.
