CONSTITUTION:The layer 6 is formed on the inner wall 4' of the casting mold, by inserting the molding mold mixed with alpha-boron nitride or alpha-boron nitride base mixture and inorganic matter, such as alumina, silica, etc., as bonding agent or applying the above composition material and baking and then, the layer 6 is fixed on the projection 4' of the mold 4. alpha-boron nitride possesses a good self lubricous property, abrasion resisting property and heat conductivity and also, is chemically stable even in a high temperature. Accordingly, smooth casting is able to carry out and the product having a good surface quality and not producing inner defect, is able to obtain at the time of carrying out continuous casting of slender wire of Ni, Co, Ti base alloy.
