Abstract

PURPOSE: To make possible the simultaneous formation of the eye parts at both end coiled parts of a spring plate and improve its dimensional accuracy by sandwiching the both ends of the spring plate between core metals and die members, turning these and moving the stands along with coiling of the both ends.

CONSTITUTION: The both ends of a spring plate (a) are inserted between core metals 13 and die members 14 and its central part is supported by a pedestal 5. A pin 6 is fitted into a center hole 6b and further holding members 7, 7 are suitably locked. Stopper 4 are suitably set according to the spring plate (a) thickness and the inside diameter of the coiled parts. Driving parts 15 are operated to advance the die members 14 toward the core metals 13, so that the plate ends (c) are firmly sandwiched between the same and the core metals 13. When in this state the respective frames 10, 10 are turned in the arrow direction by operating the respective driving parts of the frames 10, 10, the spring plate (a) is wound about the core metals 13, 13 from the both end sides, along with which the stands 2, 3 move in the mutually approaching directions and the turning of the frames 10, 10 and the movement of the stands 2, 3 are stopped by the operations of limit switches 18, 18.
