Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to measure the side held by two angles by positioning in parallel the rotation centerlines of corresponding bodies measuring supported in a rotatable and displaceable manner and shifting in parallel the rotation centerline of one measuring body with respect to the rotation centerline of another measuring body in a displaceable manner.
CONSTITUTION: Prior to the measuring operation, a movable bedplate 7 is shifted, and the surfaces 32 and 44 of two measuring bodies 3 and 4 are caused to tightly adhere to each other. Upon this occasion, a part of the bearing 42 of a measuring body 4 enters the long hole 33 of a measuring body 3 and the rotation centerlines 22 and 41 of both measuring bodies coincide with each other. When a value indicated by a digital indicator is set at "O", the quantity of shift of the center 41 of rotation of the measuring body 4 is detected at a detector 81, and the result is displayed in the digital indicator as a measured signal. A material 9 to be measured is placed on the support surface 51 of a supporter 5, and the movable bedplate 7 is shifted and the measuring bodies 3 and 4 are rotated and displaced depending upon the contor and angle of the material 9 to be measured, and clamped by the measuring surfaces 32 and 44, and the dimension to be measured which is the side clamped by two angles is immediately read out by the digital indicator.
