Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve smooth operation of a buffer device by introducing oil pressure to an auxiliary piston at the time of compression of a buffer and thereby reducing the side pressure at the time of operation of the buffer as much as possible. CONSTITUTION:At the time of compression of buffer 10, through hole 23 of valve 25 is closed, and oil pressure in chamber 20 below piston 13 is drawn into chamber 40 via space 43, linking hole 42 and path 41, and operates on auxiliary piston 33. By the reaction of this oil pressure, supporting unit 19, namely, buffer 10 is pushed back to the right in the drawing. That is, at the time of compression, the piston of the side of lower arm 37, in response to the compressed oil pressure, resists the bending force of the lower part of buffer 10 to the right in the drawing and suppresses and reduces it. By this, the side pressure to buffer 10 is suppressed and reduced as much as possible, and the smooth operation of piston 13 is secured by buffer 10, and thereby the function of the buffer is exhibited.
