Abstract

PURPOSE: To cut down working hours by constructing a multi-stage cylinder so that an inner piston may slide in an outer piston and with a radial projection provided to contact with the front end of the inner piston.
CONSTITUTION: When pressure fluid is supplied to the hole 22 of a rear cover 16 through a rear supply hole 23, first and second pistons 41 and 56 advance to start extrusion working. The piston 41 stops when the front face of a front stopper 27 contacts with the rear end face of a front cover 2 and the piston 56 further advances at a high speed until a strap 51 contacts with a projection 30 so that extrusion process is completed. When pressure fluid is supplied to the second diametrical portion 8 through a front supply hole 11 similarly, the both pistons 41 and 56 reverse to perform pulling-off process. Since the rear stage speed of the stroke of the both processes is made higher than the front stage speed so that whole cycle time can be cut down.
