Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure the eccentricity-free clamping for the information recording disk, by energizing the retainer to press the centering cup into the elastic ring and then pressing the centering cup to the center hole of the information recording disk. CONSTITUTION:When retainer 16 is pressed toward arrow (a) against the elastic force of retainer 16, the engagement between holder 12' and centering cup 12 and retainer 16 is cancelled. Thus cup 12 is pushed downward by spring 13 to be pressed into elastic ring 10. As a result, ring 10 is pushed open outward for taper part 11, and thus the center hole of information recording disk 1 is pressed to be clamped. In this case, part 11 is pressed to the upper end of the center hole via ring 10, and accordingly the accurate coincidence is obtained between the center of spindle 17 and the center of disk 1 when viewed from the information reading side. And then holder 12' is pushed up toward arrow (b) against the energizing force of spring 13 to secure the engagement between protruded part 14 at the upper end of the holder and catch part 15 of the retainer. And thus ring 10 resets to its original state by the elastic force, thus facilitating the attachement/detachment of disk 1.
