Abstract
PURPOSE: To reclaim a part of exhaust heat of a gasoline engine as the power of a stirring engine by providing heat-transmitting faces to heat the operation gas of the stirring engine just behind or inside an exhaust gas reactor.
CONSTITUTION: Inside an exit pipe 4 of exhaust gas in an exhaust gas reactor 3 of a gasoline engine for example, heat-transmitting faces 6 and 7 to heat the operation gas of, for example, an upright 2-cylindered stirring engine 5 with a direct heating system for cylinders are provided. An entrance and an exit pipe 9 and 10 for cooling water are connected with an operation gas cooling part 8 of the stirring engine 5, whole output shaft 11 is connected with an output shaft 14 of the gasoline engine 1 via bevel gears 12 and 13. In this construction, the exhaust gas given a high temperature by re-burning of unburned components and the like in the exhaust gas reactor 3 is brought into contact with heat-transmitting faces 6 and 7, and a part of its heat is taken out to the output shaft 11 to be transmitted to the output shaft 14.
