Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent completely the occurrence of the false color signals with no extreme reduction of the resolution, by sending the luminous flux sent from one point on the subject to the pickup surface via the lens system and at the same time securing the focusing of the component beams of the red, green and blue each to the positions shifted laterally on the pickup surface. CONSTITUTION:In case the color picture is detected via the optical detection means such as the pickup tube or the like, luminous flux 21 sent from point 2 on subject 1 which is comparatively bright in comparison with the background enters rear lens system 5 via prism block 4 after transmitting through front lens system 3. As a result, component beams 21R, 21G and 21B of the red, green and blue each of flux 21 are focused through color filters 6R, 6G and 6B each at positions 51, 52 and 53 which are shifted laterally on pickup surface 8. Thus the occurrence of the false color signals can be prevented completely with no extreme reduction of the resolution.
