Abstract

PURPOSE: To achieve an accurate weighing by providing on one side of a trough a separate gutter having different heights to guide only fine particles and feed them from the separate gutter by small amount.
CONSTITUTION: A vibrating trough 3 is provided on one side with a separate gutter 7 which converges its width from the depth of the trough toward a discharging port side with a constant width on the way. The upper surface of the gutter 7 is recessed axially and ridges 7a of the gutter 7 are raised progressively in the direction of arrow with a constant height on the way so that material introduced into the gutter 7 has its large particles dropped out of the gutter and only fine ones conveyed through the gutter. When the material is supplied from the trough to a weighing machine, the trough 3 is closed to feed a small amount of material through the gutter 7 so that precise supply can be achieved by the supply of only small particles.
