Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the clogging of trays with certainty, and to reduce the thermal energy consumed in recovering the washing oil, by circulating a liquid oil flowing from the bottom tray through part of the lower trays.
CONSTITUTION: A heated heavy oil is injected into the separation space 7 of the tank 8 for forming the space 7 by the vacuum nozzle 6 with the pumps 5 from the bottom recovery path 3 of the thermal cracker 4 to vaporize and separate the middle oil from the pitch. The pitch in the vaporized oil passing through the small holes 13 of the tray 9 is dissolved and recovered in the storage liquid oil A with the guides 14. The liquid oil is stored in the container 16 through the guide 15 under the lowermost tray 9a, and a liquid oil is fed from the container 16 through the pipeline 18 to the upper tray 9c by the pump 17. The flow rate of the liquid oil stored in the plural trays 9aW9c is maintained at a relatively high value to prevent the coking.
