Abstract
PURPOSE: To maintain temperature and humidity in a subway tunnel in extent that produces a comfortable condition, and to remove floating dust, by disposing a plurality of air washers in the subway tunnel, and by circulating cooling water to the air washers by means of a cooling water circulation device.
CONSTITUTION: Water in a delivery tank 48 is sent to a refrigerator 52 by means of a pump 50, and water cooled is pressure sent to each spray nozzle 36 in a plurality of air washers 26 through a delivery pipe 32 and jetted toward the water tank 34 directions. Falling light warm air C is induced to air suction ports 30 by kinetic energy that cooling water injected at that time has while being mixing contacted with cooling water and its temperature drops, natural ventialting force is added and cold winds D are discharged into a tunnel toward two subway tracks from the air discharge ports 38 of the lower portions of the air washers 26. The air washers 26 efficiently collect dust in air in water when they jet the cooling water and contact the water with the warm air.
