Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the number of processes and provide an accurately cylindrical shape, by manufacturing a winding along the peripheral surface of a desired model and by using shaping members to make the solid-form winding cylindrical while flattening it. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive tape or the like is bonded as a holding member 7 on a winding 1. The winding is then removed from a winding frame. The removed winding 1' is preparatorily curved without passing through a flattening process. A chaping unit comprising a core 9 and a split outer model 10 as shaping members is used to shape the winding 1' to be cylindrical. Ti preparatorily shape the winding, the projecting end 8 of the holding member 7 is fixed on the core 9 by tight fitting, the cylindrical shaping is started at the fixed end 8' and the winding 1' of hexagonal cross section is deformed like a board and coiled on the peripheral surface of the core. According to this method, the number of processes is reduced, the cylindrical shaping is greatly facilitated and an accurately cylindrical form is provided.
