Abstract

PURPOSE: To separate components to be separated from mixed liquid continuously and centrifugally by an apparatus in which one end of a flexible conduit is fastened to a point on the extended line of rotary shaft and the other end is connected detachably to a sedimentation pipe or a case for a sedimentation pipe.
CONSTITUTION: A sedimentation pipe 13 is provided detachably with a flexible conduit 15 at its inlet end, and the other end of the flexible conduit 15 is fastened to a position on the axis of a rotary shaft 20 of a container 12. Also, the sedimentation pipe 13 is held rotatably around the central shaft 17 by the rotary supporter 16 and then connected to a driving means 14 through the arm 18 and the shaft 19 connected to the supporter 16. Thus, in the sedimentation pipe 13, the torque imparted on the pipe 13 is offset while it rotates around the shaft 20 one time and it rotates around the central shaft 17 one time, permitting the components to be separated from mixed liquid in an enclosed state continuously and centrifugally.
