CONSTITUTION: A steel strip is grooved on the one side to form a cooling fin 2. Then, it is made cylindrical by a mold rolling with the cooling fin inside. Then, the butting sections 3 are joined together to form a cylindrical conductor 4. The cylindrical conductor 4 is subjected to a drawing or a rolling to be molded into a hollow conductor 5 having a square cross-section. With such an arrangement, it is possible to produce a hollow conductor allowing higher cooling effect with a number of cooling fins in a very easy manner.
