Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide the rotary clamper having rapidness by supplying pressure air and pressure oil and elevating a clamping rod.
CONSTITUTION: When pressure air is supplied to an opening 1b, a clamping rod 2 advances and a splined shaft 3 also advances as its step part 2a abuts against a ring 7. At this time, the head part of the clamping rod 2 comes out above a die 21. When pressure fluid is supplied to an opening 19a, a rack 5 moves, causing the splined shaft 3 and clamping rod 2 to be rotated 90° by means of a pinion 4. When pressure oil is supplied to an opening 16a, the entire part of the cylinder 1 retreats and the head part of the clamping rod 2 engages with the die, thereby clamping the die 21 and bolster 20 to a bed 14. Next, when pressure oil is supplied to an opening 16c, the cylinder 1 and clamping rod 2 advance and when pressure oil is supplied to an opening 18a, the rack 5 moves, causing the splined shaft 3 and clamping rod 2 to rotate 90°. When pressure air is supplied to the opening 16b, the clamping rod 2 retreats and the splined shaft 3 retreats, thereby releasing the clamping.
