Abstract
PURPOSE:To manufacture a multi-connection inverter with large capacity as inexpensively as possible by a method wherein the wave distortion ratio is limited to that within the tolerance even if the number of unit inverters is increased, using transformers with the same transformation ratio and the same capacity. CONSTITUTION:Unit inverters U1-U2m at 2m, each of which is connected in series to the secondary side of one of the output transformers TR1-TR2m to which the intervers belong, are connected together at output terminals u, v and output voltage e0 is taken out. Each output transformer TR1-TR2m has the same transformation ration and capacity. the primary voltages are rectangular pulse a.c. voltages which have the same height and width and consequently the secondary voltages become the same rectangular pulse a.c. voltages. The unit inverters as many as R pieces of them are controlled by a pulse distributor PD.
