Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture a one-directional silicon steel plate with high magnetic flux density and low iron loss by a method wherein the one-directional silicon steel plate is provided with a wavy pattern extending in the direction crossing in the rolling direction and secondarily recrystallized and annealed, and wavy pattern is corrected in a process of manufacture after purifying and annealing. CONSTITUTION:Slab for a silicon steel plate is hot-rolled up to intermediate thickness and the steel plate is pickled. The steel plate is rolled to final standard thickness by means of normal cold rolling at two stages or cold rolling only at one stage while putting intermediate annealing between the pickling and the cold rolling. The steel plate is deoxidized and annealed, and subject to finishing annealing containing purifying annealing at temperatures sufficiet for causing secondary recrystallization. The secondary recrystallization is formed by continuous striped annealing at that time, and the steel plate is, at least, located at that time so that it has a wavy pattern in the direction that crosses in the cold rolling direction. That is, the steel plate is tilted in order that a [00l] axis be positioned within a range of + or -4 deg. or less to a rolling surface, and the secodary recrystallization of structures is molded. One-directional silicon steel plate, whose iron loss is particularly low, is obtained, accordingly.
