Abstract
PURPOSE: To grasp the titled condition accurately by means of a simple technique by a method wherein temperature correction coefficient obtained in consideration of a two-dimensional thermal flow in an off-line is applied to the computation of a matrix by an on-line.
CONSTITUTION: Temperatures θ1, θ2, θ3...θN-3, θN-2, θN-1 at two or more locations such as three locations in the wall thickness direction are each measured at a plurality of different portions in a section in the arbitrary longitudinal direction of a blast furnace by means of a plurality of temperature detecting sensors buried in a fire proofing wall of the blast furnace. On the other hand, a reference erosion line Ns corresponding to the conditions of the furnace is supposed in the said section, and reference temperature is inversely set based on the line Ns. Temperature correction coefficient forming relationship between temperature difference between both the reference temperature and temperature measured and erosion difference between both the reference erosion line Ns and an actual erosion line is decided by an off-line in consideration of a two-dimensional thermal flow. Said quantity of errosion is calculated by an on-line by computing a matrix by using the correction coefficient. When similar analysis is done about other cutting planes, the appearance of three-dimensional erosion can be obtained.
