Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the smoke collecting efficiency, durability and repair properties of the housing loading type titled facilities by a method wherein the arrengement, shape and dimensions of electric dust collectors and smoke introducing plates and the area of an opening portion between the ground surface and a lower portion of a wall at the housing side are appropriately selected.
CONSTITUTION: Electric dust collectors 4 are disposed so that the center P1 be positioned on a roof ridgeline 9 and each be located within the distance of 1/2W1/3 toward the both directions of housing end portions P3, P3 in the extending directions of the ridgeline 9 from an intersecting point P2 between the ridgeline 9 and a housing base line 10, which passes through the center of a blast furnace body 1 and crosses at right angles with the ridgeline 9. The effective area (m2) of a dust collecting port per one machine of the precipitators 4 is made to be 1/200W1/400 of the inner volume (m3) of entire housing, and the dust collecting ports are formed in rectangular shapes of 1:1W1:3. Smoke introducing plates 5 are mounted extending over the full length of housing width along both outer edges in the longitudinal directions of te dust collectors 4 and at the height of 1/2W2/3 of height H up to a top portion of a housing from a casting bed surface 7. The area (m2) of an opening portion between a ground surface 12 and a side-wall edge 13 of the housing is made to be the ratios of 1/100W1/200 of the volume (m3) of entire housing.
