Abstract
PURPOSE:To accurately align two cylindrical members to each other, by fitting one cylindrical member with an optional clearance on a mandrel, integrally fitting the other cylindrical member on the mandrel and moving the former cylindrical member in the radial direction of the latter. CONSTITUTION:The first cylindrical member 15 is fitted on the first fitting part 12 of a mandrel 14. The second cylindrical member 16 is fitted on the second fitting part 13 of the mandrel 14. Pairs of first and second measuring instruments are provided in symmetric positions at the second cylindrical member. Values measured by the instruments are applied to subtractors D, E, F to detect the difference in the clearance in each position. The second cylindrical member is displaced to eliminate the difference. The second cylindrical member is thus concentrically aligned to the first one.
