Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the transport mechanism and at the same time to stri the enclosed liquid without contact by forming cuvette to be used in an automatic chemical analyzer by two vertical, parallel side walls and an outer wall connecting them. CONSTITUTION:Cuvette 1 consists of two vertical, parallel, circular side plates 2a, 2b and outer plate 3 connecting them. In the center of side plates 2 are provided circular openings 4a, 4b. Further, cuvette 1 is transported by causing it to roll on the guide of the transport mechanism. It is stopped by the specified sample injection device, and the test solution is injected from opening 4. Next, while it is being rotated, it is transported to the reagent injection position, where the reagent is injected. After a further rotation, it is stopped and the colorimetric test is performed. Since solution 5 is stirred automatically by one rotational transport of cuvette 1, no special stirring mechanism is required, so that holding and transport mechanisms can be simplified.
