Abstract

PURPOSE: To raise absorbing efficiency of a sunbeam absorbing tube through even coating of an oxide film on the surface of the tube with plural projections formed thereon by inclining a metal spraying nozzle against the projections.
CONSTITUTION: A solar-heat absorbing tube 1 with a number of projections 2 formed thereon is given metal spraying of an oxide by a metal spraying nozzle 5 so as to raise the absorbing efficiency. In the given invention, the metal spraying nozzle 5 is devised to be in the positions 6 and 7 inclined by proper angles θ1 and θ2 to the extension from the center of the tube 1, to give metal spraying. This facilitates even coating of the oxide on the entire surface of the projections 2, eliminating partial coating only on the tips and bases of the projections 2, thereby the wall of the projections 2 being placed in a fully coated state, thus the solar-heat absorbing tube 1 displaying full absorbing effect being obtained.
