Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify construction work process by a method wherein a raw solution of foam insulating material is charged into the gap between an outer tank and a self-standing inner tank so as to form an insulating material layer. CONSTITUTION:An insulating material layer 3' is a pressure-resisting support material made of foam glass, and a self-standing inner tank 4 is placed on the layer 3'. A vinyl sheet 2 is temporarily fixed on the outside surface of the tank 4. Then a raw solution of polyurethane foam is charged into the gap between a bulk body 1 and the tank 4 covered with the sheet 2. The raw solution is foamed, fills up the gap, and grows upward to form an insulating material layer 3. Thus, construction work is simplified.
