Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce frictional resistance acted between a shaft and a bearing, by transferring a net pattern on the surface of a thin plate made of fluororesin, and imparting ruggedness thereon.
CONSTITUTION: By transferring a net pattern on the surface of a thin plate 4 of fluororesin which is used as slide member, the surface of plate 4 is formed into a corrugated, rugged surface having no directivity by the function of said net pattern. After filling lubricating material into pot-shaped recesses 7 formed in the surface of plate 4, plate 4 is rounded into a cylindrical form to be used as bearing material 10. By use of such a bearing material, contact area between the shaft and the bearing material is reduced and they are held in resilient contact with each other, so that the frictional resistance acted therebetween can be reduced and wear-resisting performance and durability of the bearing can be improved.
